Jack & Tollers Tee
A Narnian lamp post in front of a Hobbiton door looks as natural together as two friends in a pub.
And so, this tee is inspired by the friendship of C.S. Lewis (known as Jack) & J.R.R. Tolkien (often called Tollers). Every week during the 1930s and 40s, they met at the Eagle & Child pub in Oxford. There, in the cozy corner of the "Rabbit Room," they and their friends would listen to the latest chapter of Narnia or The Lord of the Rings being read aloud and give feedback. Wouldn't you love to eavesdrop on those conversations?
Anyway, we're thrilled with this new piece of artwork, and love how it looks on this soft tee. And behind the art are snippets of their stories that were undoubtedly read over a pint!
