The train!

The train was the way to get around the country for the longest time, and I sometimes wish that were still the case. I'd love to get a soda pop in the club car and watch the world go by as the engine chugs away.

I chose these items because they can all be used like they were back in their own day (except for the train schedule, which is a bit out of date). The scarf can add some vintage charm to your hair or neck--or try tying it to your purse so that it compliments the pouch when you pull it out to look for your essentials. The pill box can be used for any little trinket you want to keep safe, or for a few Advil when you need it! As for the train schedule, that's the type of thing I put somewhere around my desk, bookshelf or pinboard. A little romance of a bygone era.
