This bookmark carousel is fashioned in the likeness of the great watchtowers that once looked after ancient forests. The towers themselves have been broken down and destroyed by the hands of both men and Time. But they were once the shelters of the great men and women who cared for the trees. Some called them forest royalty. Hence the cream and black crown at the top of the tower, where they would look out over a horizon of treetops.
The wood is of sturdy walnut, and the clips are of bendable copper. It measures 7 3/4" Tall, 3 3/4" wide (base), and 2 7/8" wide (tower). Inside the tower is a riser so that bookmarks being stored in the middle are easy to grab from the top. The riser is a wooden cross (creating cubbies holes perfect for holding your wand). And of course it spins!
